Our current plan is to maintain our regular hours of 11-7,
seven days a week. However, that might be likely to change,
depending on the fluid nature of the situation, so we’ll be
sure to post significant updates here and on our social
media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
In order to make your purchasing more efficient, we will
offer different options:
-Prepay over the phone or via PayPal or other methods
-Deliver comics curbside
-Home delivery or priority shipping via USPS
-Pick up by appointment (we may be in the shop working even
if we close to the public, if it comes to that.)
Our goal is to minimize the number of people in the store at
any given time to abide by federal guidelines.
We also have hand sanitizer available for the public.
IF YOU’RE A SUBSCRIBER:
If you have several weeks of comics on hold, we would
appreciate you getting caught up to maintain our cash flow
and allow us to continue to order books for you. If you
can’t come in, we can ship your books to you. That being
said, we have no problem if you want to wait a few weeks,
both to minimize trips, or to make the shipping costs more
affordable per item. The important thing is to let us know
what your plans are. We don’t have a problem holding onto
your books as long as you keep us in the loop.
We understand some of you may be financially strapped as
well. If you are unable to purchase your holds, please let
us know so that we can place your file on hold. We don’t
want to stress you out any further.
If you are moving or otherwise unable to come to the store
and need to cancel your subscription, please just tell us.
It is much easier for us to know what to order with accurate
information about the status of your sub.
If you don’t have a sub, but have items you want, please
let us know so we can order and have them ready for you.
Finally, we’ve been having intermittent problems receiving
phone calls (time for a new phone!). If you call and can’t
get through, please email us at matt.comicopia@gmail.com,
and we’ll try to respond ASAP.
Thank you for your patience during this trying time.
